Before the February primary, Wisconsin Business Leaders for Democracy — a group of Democratic and Republican business leaders — asked the four major candidates for Wisconsin Supreme Court to respond to questions about their judicial philosophy and approach to past cases that have had an impact on our democracy in Wisconsin.

The questionnaire confirmed Janet Protasiewicz's support for pro-democracy values.

Dan Kelly refused to answer.

  • Project Democracy PAC announced a six-figure digital ad urging voters to support liberal Janet Protasiewicz in the April 4 Supreme Court race.

    The group said the ad targets business executives and economic leaders in Wisconsin, as well as more than 200,000 voters who identify as moderate, centrist, independent, lean Democratic or lean Republican.

    The ad features: Elizabeth Brenner, a former business executive; Tom Florsheim, a Dem and footwear industry executive; and Anoop Prakash, an automotive industry executive and former political appointee in the George W. Bush administration.
